Do you have stores or showrooms?

Yes, we have luxurious and stunning showroom in Melbourne and Sydney. Book an appointment online to meet with our DX teams today.

We also offer online consultations for anyone now near a showroom.

Do you buy diamonds or jewellery?

No, we do not purchase diamonds and jewellery.

What is your return policy?

DX offers a 30-Day Return Policy which entitles you a full refund or exchange within 30 days of the shipment. Pleaser review our Policies for more information.

Does DX offer diamond and jewellery insurance?

Yes. If you would like to insure your item outside of your home & contents policy, we offer Q Report Insurance. Please visit our Insurance page for more details.

Does DX offer payment plans?

While DX does not offer payment plans, we do offer the ability to place your order with a 50% deposit. Please note, final balance must be paid within 30 days of the initial deposit date. At times and based on the final price of your order, other payment options may be avaialble at checkout, online only.

Are your prices flexible?

We offer excellent value for money by providing our diamonds at the lowest possible prices, therefore we are unable to reduce them. Our prices are typically 40% under those of traditional retail jewellers.

How long can you hold an online order?

We will hold your order for up to 30-days after the order has been received.

Does DX sell lab grown or natural diamonds?

Both. DX offers an extensive collection of lab grown and natural diamonds. The full range is available online with over 250,000 stones to choose from.

Can I exchange a diamond I bought elsewhere?

We do not buy, or exchange, diamonds purchased elsewhere.

Diamond FAQs

Can I buy a loose diamond?

This can be done easily online if you know what you are looking for, or give us a call and we'll help you find the perfect loose diamond.

Can I view a diamond before buying it?

Since every diamond is purchased specifically for each customer, we do not stock diamonds for viewing. We do however, offer 360 degree videos and certification details of all the Natural and Lab Grown diamonds available to shop.

Will my diamond be laser encrypted?

Yes. All of our diamonds over 0.30ct come with GIA or IGI Certificates and are laser inscribed for identification purposes.

Can I buy a DX setting and have it fit to my loose diamond or gemstone?

Unfortunately not, as all of our rings are specifically crafted to fit diamonds purchased through DX Diamonds.

Do you sell coloured diamonds or other types of gemstones?

Yes, the team at DX are able to help you source coloured and fancy coloured diamonds as well as a range of different gemstones. All diamonds and gemstones are available in Natural or Lab Grown source of origin.

Is my diamond conflict free?

Yes. All diamonds sold by DX are conflict free and ethically sourced, complying with The Kimberley Process, and we are proud members of the Jewellery Association of Australia.

Can you source diamonds that do no appear in your inventory?

Yes. Although we offer over 150,000 loose Natural and Lab Grown diamonds, if you cannot find what you are looking for, please be in touch.

Can I upgrade a diamond I bought from DX?

Do you sell Lab Grown diamonds?

Yes. DX offers an extensive collection of lab grown diamonds that share the same physical characteristics as our natural diamonds but are a cost-effective alternative.

Are natural diamonds better quality than lab grown diamonds?

Lab grown diamonds are the same as natural diamonds in that they vary in cut, colour and clarity. At DX, we offer high quality options for both lab and natural diamonds.

Are DX lab grown diamonds certified?

Yes. All DX lab grown diamonds weighing over .30ct are independently certified by IGI International Gemological Institute) and are laser inscribed with the identification number that appears on the laboratory certificate.

Does DX use lab grown accent diamonds in engagement rings with lab grown centre diamonds?

If you choose a lab grown diamond as the centre stone for your engagement ring, the accent diamonds in the setting will also be lab grown.

Custom Designs

Can I design my own ring?

You certainly can. If you are unable to find your perfect ring among our Collections, we can make one specially for you. For further details please see Custom Design Rings.

What if I want a stone shape not available with a setting style I like?

No problem. All of our settings can be customised to accommodate any diamond shape. Book an appointment to chat to our diamond and setting experts to create your custom piece.

Do your pendants include the chain?

Yes, our pendants all come with a 45cm trace link chains adjustable to a 42cm length which will match the metal of your pendant.

Can I slightly alter an existing design?

Sure. We can modify any of our designs. Book an appointment and speak to our diamond and setting experts today.

Do you have in-stock items I can buy from?

All DX products are made to order, and because ever setting is as unique as it's wearer, the order is made, just for you. Browse our range of Ready To Ship products that come with DX Recommended qualities to help your checkout process along.

Ring Sizing & Resizing

Do you offer ring sizing?

Yes, we offer one complimentary resizing for our standard ring styles, as long as the resizing is complete within 90 days of shipment. Custom, modified, and engraved rings are subject to resize fees. Outside of the 90 day complimentary resize period, rings can be resized for a fee when within our jeweller’s recommended sizing range.

Is the resize free if the ring has been engraved?

No, because the ring is considered custom, there is a fee to resize engraved rings.

Is the resize free if the ring has been slightly modified?

No, because the ring is considered custom, there is a fee to resize modified rings.

Is the ring shipped back after resizing?

Yes. We will ship the ring back to the client anywhere in Australia for free.

Payments & Shipping

What payment methods does DX accept?

At DX we ofer a range of payment methods available online, and as presented at checkout. This may vary person to person and based on the value of your final order. You can also speak to us in store or over the phone to arrange payment via by credit card or direct bank transfer.

Are goods and services tax (GST) refunds uf I travel overseas?

Can I claim GST?

All order include GST and a full GST invoice can be provided. If you are taking your purchase out of Australia within 60 days of purchase, you are entitled to claim the GST back.

Does DX accept International orders?

Yes, and as an international customer, you will be exempt from paying our local Goods and Services Tax.

Please book an appointment online to discuss and finalise your order and final payment and shipping details for international orders.

How long will it take ti receive my order?

Please allow up to 5 weeks for the delivery of your order. If you have a specific date you need your order delivered by, please contact us before placing an online order, and we will let you know what is achievable.

Is shipping free or insured?

All DX orders include free, insured shipping to anywhere in Australia. For more information about shipping option or shipping internationally, please book an appointment to speak with our team today.

Can I track my order?

Yes, we will contact you prior to shipment to confirm delivery details. We will also send you confirmation of dispatch along with a link to track your order.

Can you offer weekend delivery?

No, we do not offer delivery services on Saturdays or Sundays, nor on public holidays.

Can you deliver to an address other then my billing address?

Yes. When confirming your order, please state the intended address in the shipping address fields and leave a comment if you require any other special arrangements.

Can you ship and deliver outside of Australia?
