Lab Grown Diamonds – IGI Certificates
Every DX lab grown diamond comes with an IGI certificate – your assurance that its Carat, Cut, Colour and Clarity have been independently assessed and recorded, complete with a diagram of its proportions. Stones over 0.50ct are laser inscribed for easy identification.
The International Gemological Institute (IGI) is a globally respected authority in diamond grading. Their meticulous process, carried out by multiple expert gemmologists, ensures each certified diamond is graded with precision, consistency, and total transparency.
Natural Diamonds - GIA Certificates
All our diamonds have been thoroughly inspected and graded by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), and are accompanied by their own GIA certificate, which covers the diamond’s characteristics or 4C’s – Carat, Cut, Colour, Clarity – and a visual diagram of the diamond’s proportions. Every diamond over .30ct is also laser inscribed for identification purposes.
The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is one of the most respected and recognised diamond laboratories in the world, and diamonds that come with GIA certificates are the most highly valued. They are guaranteed to be graded reliably and consistently, by three to six separate gemmologists.
Insurance Appraisals
All loose diamonds, diamond rings and jewellery purchased from DX Diamonds come with an appraisal for insurance purposes.
The insurance appraisal states the approximate retail replacement value of the item calculated according to the current retail marketplace. It also includes a description and photo of the item, as well details of the diamond such as carat weight, colour and clarity .
In the case of any loss, theft or damage, this insurance appraisal ensures that your insurance company will give you an equivalent replacement for the item.
